Ganache for Dipping

Build some ganache, warm it up and dip some strawberries into it. Set the chocolate-covered strawberries on parchment paper and let them nap in the refrigerator so the chocolate can harden. If you are can't wait, then put one tray in the frig while you eat a set. There is nothing wrong with alternating your dipping. Dip one - eat it. Dip another - set on tray. Repeat.

I can't believe how hard it was to make the cream cheese icing. That powdered sugar flew everywhere when I tried to sift it into the stand mixer. Next time, use a hand mixer.

Another Chili Day at Work

I still get confused if it is supposed to be "chili" or "chilli", but oh well, what's in a name, that which we call chili by any other name would smell (and taste) as sweet (and hot).

Pot luck time at work as we said good bye to co-workers who are moving on to other venues. I brought my standard favorite dish.
